Forest bathing
Slow, guided immersion to restore the senses. Individual or small-group sessions in quiet canopy.
Guided hikes, forest bathing and living ecology education — for individuals and groups rebuilding their bond with nature.

The forest is not scenery. It is a record — and it can be read.
Slow, guided immersion to restore the senses. Individual or small-group sessions in quiet canopy.
Living landscapes interpreted layer by layer — ecology, habitat and the human story woven through.
Lectures & workshops on biodiversity and sustainable development for schools, teams and organisations.
Six ways in. Choose by intent — walking, sitting, looking, learning, training, listening — and we will fit the season around it.
Half a day to a full day reading the ground from ridge to valley. We move at walking pace and stop to look — under logs, at the lichen, in the soil.
Field note — at 2 km the trail forks; the left bank holds last winter's beaver cuttings.
Shinrin-yoku without the spa: guided stillness among the trees, with attention trained to soften and a guide who knows which canopy holds the light.
Field note — the sit-spot under the birch keeps the wind down; ears go quiet in twenty minutes.
Hands-on encounters for individuals and groups: the life of a fallen tree, tracking at first light, the night sounds of a wood in August.
Field note — a single beech log can host four hundred species; we count to a hundred.
Curriculum-aligned woodland sessions for classes, families and clubs — from the food web in a ditch to how a forest recovers after fire.
Field note — every session ends with the same question: what did the ground do today?
Applied ecology, biodiversity and sustainable development for teams and institutions, taught in the field and in the room.
Field note — the survey frame does the arguing; nobody has to take anyone's word for it.
Plain-spoken talks on the living world and what we owe it — for conferences, study days and public evenings. No slogans.
Field note — the question we always get: what can I actually do on Monday?
Ecology is easier to hold when you have stood in it. We bring the argument out of the slide deck and into the field — then back to your strategy with something measured to show for it.
Full-day training on how local ecosystems actually respond to land use, management and disturbance.
Lecture plus a field survey; your team learns to count what matters and to report it honestly.
A working session linking ecological limits to the decisions your organisation is already making.
Programmes run on your site, in the forest, or as a blend of both. Every booking starts with a conversation about what you actually need to know.

We are not separate from the forest. We are one of its slower species.
Most of us have simply never been taught how to look. Guiding, for us, is the transfer of attention — the moss, the rot, the quiet regrowth. None of it is new. Someone has had to kneel and spend years noticing it, so that you, kneeling beside them, can too. That is the whole of the work.
We meet on the ground, agree the pace, and walk to the first reading. No briefing theatre — the forest is the room.
Then the work begins: close, slow, often on our knees. What the soil, the lichen and the rot are doing right now.
A short close and, for groups, a written field summary. The aim is a changed way of looking, not a souvenir.
